In alignment with Egypt’s efforts to strengthen its position on the global tourism map and attract high-value investments in the hospitality sector, Four Seasons Cairo has signed a new cooperation agreement with LongeBlack, the Cairo-based luxury business branding firm.
The partnership was officially announced during a special event titled “Rare Spades”, attended by prominent business leaders, industry figures, and media representatives. This collaboration embodies a shared vision for creating unprecedented luxury experiences that reinforce Egypt’s standing as a leading destination for high-end tourism. It also opens new pathways for investment opportunities across the hospitality sector, aligning closely with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities’ strategy to increase hotel capacity, elevate service standards, and support sustainable development within this vital industry. Speaking at the ceremony, Mohamed El Samman, Managing Director and Head of Strategy at LongeBlack and LXIAS, emphasized the strategic significance of the partnership: “This collaboration with Four Seasons Cairo is not just a commercial agreement, it is a pivotal move to redefine the meaning of luxury in Egypt. Together, we aim to introduce innovative and immersive experiences that elevate the tourism sector and attract high-caliber investments that benefit the national economy.” From the hotel’s side, Charles Fisher, General Manager of Four Seasons Cairo highlighted the alignment between the partnership and Egypt’s broader tourism development agenda: “Our hotel has long played a central role in shaping Egypt’s tourism landscape. Partnering with LongeBlack complements the state’s vision to advance the sector, and we remain committed to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences that reflect the true essence of Egyptian luxury.” The signing coincides with the 25th anniversary of Four Seasons Cairo, the first Four Seasons property in the Middle East. Since opening in 2000, the hotel has become a symbol of premium hospitality in Cairo, distinguished by its prime location overlooking both the Nile River and the Giza Pyramids. According to representatives from both sides, this partnership marks a significant milestone within the broader framework of Egypt’s public–private cooperation to enhance tourism investment. It sets the stage for future collaborations across multiple sectors, supporting the growth of inbound tourism, expanding the investment base, and strengthening Egypt’s competitiveness regionally and globally.
